This Cookie Policy explains how Seedling Systems LLC uses cookies and similar technologies on Undercurrents. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off in our systems.

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in and protects forms (CSRF). Duration: session or as configured.
• Cookie consent (uc_cookie_consent) — stores your cookie choice. Duration: 12 months.
• Locale / theme — may be stored in session or profile when signed in.

2. Optional attribution cookies

With your consent, we set cookies to understand how users arrive from marketing campaigns (not for third-party advertising networks):

• mkt_vid — anonymous visitor identifier. Up to 12 months.
• mkt_sid, mkt_trk, UTM cookies — session/campaign context. Up to 30 days.

We honor Do Not Track where supported. If you choose “Essential only” on the banner, we do not set these cookies.

3. Third-party services

• Stripe — payment processing when you subscribe (Stripe may set its own cookies on checkout pages).
• Google reCAPTCHA — fraud prevention on registration and support forms.
• Anthropic — AI features are invoked server-side; no Anthropic browser cookies in the app.

4. Your choices

Use the cookie banner on first visit, or clear cookies in your browser. Signed-in users can manage email preferences in Settings. Questions: Support.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
